How private banking and wealth services work

Global Enterprise Financial, Inc. is not a bank, investment manager, financial adviser, broker-dealer or private wealth institution unless expressly stated for a specific service and jurisdiction. GEF operates the GEF One technology and financial-services access platform and may facilitate introductions, applications and access to services provided by qualified financial institutions and professional service providers, who are responsible for the regulated financial service each provides. Depending on jurisdiction, eligibility and provider availability, this can include private banking access, multi-currency banking, international payments, foreign exchange, treasury services, wealth-management services, investment access, access to certain alternative investment products offered by appropriately authorised providers, digital-asset services, custody services, access to structured financial products or financing solutions offered by applicable regulated providers, where available, credit and lending solutions, and other specialist financial services. Where a service is a regulated banking, investment, payment, lending, custody or digital-asset activity, GEF does not represent that it itself accepts deposits, provides banking services, manages investments, provides personal financial advice, guarantees investment returns or performance, guarantees access to credit or banking approval, guarantees a particular interest rate or yield, or provides guaranteed investment products or any regulated financial service without the appropriate authorisation.

Private banking access

Where private banking services are available, GEF may facilitate access to an appropriate Banking Partner offering private banking accounts, multi-currency accounts, international banking, relationship management, payment services, foreign exchange, treasury services, credit facilities and other banking services. The applicable Banking Partner determines whether an applicant qualifies for an account, and GEF cannot guarantee that any applicant will be accepted.

How eligibility is assessed

Private banking, wealth and investment access can depend on residence, citizenship, tax residency, net worth, investable assets, income, source of wealth and source of funds, business interests, banking requirements, customer risk profile, applicable regulatory requirements, and any minimum account or asset requirements the provider sets, and is subject to enhanced due diligence — meeting an indicative eligibility requirement doesn't guarantee approval. Eligibility requirements vary between providers and jurisdictions, and the final decision always sits with the relevant Banking, Wealth or Digital Asset Partner, not GEF.

Verification, source of wealth and source of funds

Private clients may be subject to enhanced due diligence, which can include government-issued identification, proof of residential address, tax-residency information, employment or business information, financial statements, bank statements, investment records, corporate or trust documentation, and information on related entities and beneficial ownership — additional verification may apply for complex ownership structures, international transactions or higher-risk jurisdictions. Providers may also want to understand how a customer's wealth was accumulated (for example through business ownership or sale, employment income, investments, property transactions, inheritance, trust distributions, dividends or capital gains) and the specific origin of funds being deposited, transferred or invested, supported by evidence such as bank statements, sale agreements, invoices, investment statements, loan agreements or tax documentation. Providing this information doesn't mean GEF independently verifies or endorses a customer's wealth — the relevant provider conducts its own due diligence, and funds may be reviewed before being accepted.

Investment services and risk

GEF's role in investment services is limited to the services expressly identified for the relevant product and jurisdiction. Depending on the arrangement, GEF may provide technology, general information, customer introductions or access to a regulated provider. GEF does not provide personalised investment advice, portfolio management, discretionary investment management or investment recommendations unless expressly stated for a specific service and jurisdiction and GEF holds the required regulatory authorisation. Where investment services are available through GEF One, they're provided by the applicable investment or financial-services provider, and can include managed investments, securities, funds, alternative investments, private-market opportunities, structured products, fixed-income products, real assets and digital assets, depending on jurisdiction and eligibility. Investment performance can't be guaranteed unless expressly stated in a legally valid product document and permitted under applicable law — GEF does not guarantee investment returns, capital growth or preservation, income, dividends, interest, yields, distributions, profit, investment allocations, liquidity, asset values, foreign-exchange rates, transaction approval or any particular financial outcome, and past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance. Investments may lose value, including the possible loss of some or all invested capital, and information made available through GEF One shouldn't automatically be treated as personal financial advice or a recommendation — where personalised investment advice is needed, obtain it from an appropriately authorised financial adviser, since investment decisions remain the customer's responsibility unless a regulated discretionary arrangement has been expressly established with the applicable provider. Investment products carry varying risks including market, capital-loss, interest-rate, currency, liquidity, credit, counterparty, issuer, political and regulatory, technology, cybersecurity, digital-asset and valuation risk — review the applicable product documentation and risk disclosures before investing.

Credit and lending

Where credit, lending or financing products are available through GEF One, the applicable lender or financial institution determines whether credit is available, eligibility, borrowing capacity, credit assessment, interest rates, fees, loan-to-value and security requirements, repayment terms and final approval. GEF does not guarantee that a customer will receive credit or financing — approval is subject to the lender's own assessment and applicable law.

No guaranteed banking access

Access to private banking services is subject to the requirements of the applicable Banking Partner. GEF does not guarantee account approval, continued account access, minimum account balances, particular banking or credit facilities, payment or transaction approval, foreign-exchange availability, or any particular banking relationship — a Banking Partner may decline an application or restrict or terminate services in line with its own terms, applicable law and its regulatory obligations.

Fees and charges

Private banking, wealth and investment services can involve account, relationship-management, transaction, foreign-exchange, custody, investment-management, advisory, performance (where applicable), brokerage, fund, credit and lending fees, and other product-specific charges, which vary by provider and product — review the relevant provider's documentation before committing to a service. Where GEF separately charges a platform or referral-related fee, that fee is disclosed clearly and separately.

Custody and who holds what

Assets and funds connected through GEF One Private are held by the applicable Banking, Wealth or Digital Asset Partner identified for that product — a licensed bank, an authorised investment custodian, a regulated financial institution, a qualified digital-asset custodian, or another appropriately authorised provider. GEF does not automatically hold or control customer assets merely because you access them through GEF One. Review the applicable custody terms for segregation, insolvency treatment and access to assets before committing funds. The specific custody arrangement will be identified in the applicable product documentation before the customer commits funds or assets.

Private client services

Depending on the provider and jurisdiction, private clients may get access to services not generally available to retail customers — dedicated relationship management, international banking, treasury services, multi-currency solutions, wealth-management services, investment access, alternative investments, access to appropriately qualified corporate, legal or professional service providers, where available, international payments, foreign exchange and credit solutions among others. Availability of these services doesn't imply preferential investment performance or guaranteed outcomes.

Jurisdiction availability

Private banking and wealth services are highly jurisdiction-dependent — availability can depend on your residence, citizenship, tax residency, country of incorporation, the investment jurisdiction, the provider's licence, local financial-services laws, investor classification, minimum investment requirements, sanctions, KYC/AML requirements and the provider's own risk policies. A provider authorised in one jurisdiction may not be permitted to provide the same service in another, and we won't represent a private banking or investment product as available in a jurisdiction until the applicable provider and regulatory position have been verified — see Jurisdictions for current confirmed availability.

Your licensed partner

Each regulated private banking or investment product will identify the applicable provider, its regulator, licence or registration number, jurisdiction, the service it provides, GEF's role, your customer relationship, the applicable custodian, where funds or assets are held, fees, and who handles complaints. We only publish this once the licence, regulatory authority, service scope and jurisdiction have been verified — see Licensed Partners and Licences & Regulatory Status for confirmed detail.

Who you're contracted with

Depending on the product, you may have separate relationships with GEF One, for the technology platform and any services GEF provides directly, and with one or more Licensed Financial Providers, for the regulated banking, investment, payment, lending, custody or other financial service itself. A product may also involve custodians, card issuers, payment processors, investment managers, brokers, banks or digital-asset service providers — the applicable product documentation will identify exactly who's involved.

Complaints

Complaints about the GEF One website, platform or GEF's own services can be sent to support@globalenterprisefinancial.com. Complaints about banking, investment or wealth services delivered by a connected partner — account administration, investment management or execution, financial advice, custody, banking transactions, lending decisions or fees charged by the provider — are generally directed to that partner, under its own complaints process and any applicable external dispute-resolution or regulatory process.

Risk disclosure

Private banking and wealth services carry financial, investment and counterparty risk. No representation is made that any investment will achieve a particular return or yield, that a banking account, credit facility, investment or other financial product will be approved, that one investment will outperform another investment or the market, or that capital will be protected unless the applicable product documentation expressly says so. Review all product documentation carefully and obtain independent professional advice where appropriate — past performance is not indicative of future results, investments can fall as well as rise in value, and you may lose some or all of your invested capital.

Independent professional advice

Before making significant financial, investment, tax or structuring decisions, consider obtaining independent advice from a licensed financial or investment adviser, a tax adviser, an accountant, a lawyer, an estate-planning professional or another appropriately qualified professional. Giving you access to financial products or providers doesn't mean GEF has replaced the need for that independent advice.

Get in touch

Eligible clients can express interest in private banking and wealth solutions from Open an Account, or by contacting support@globalenterprisefinancial.com. An expression of interest or application doesn't constitute an offer of financial services and doesn't guarantee acceptance, banking access, credit approval or investment access — it remains subject to provider review and applicable regulatory requirements.

Important regulatory notice

Global Enterprise Financial, Inc. is not a bank, investment manager, financial adviser or broker-dealer merely because it operates GEF One or facilitates access to financial products. GEF One is a technology and financial-services access platform; regulated banking, investment, lending, payment, custody and digital-asset services are provided by the relevant Licensed Partner or appropriately authorised provider where applicable, and product availability, eligibility, fees, regulatory status, custody arrangements and customer protections vary by provider, product and jurisdiction. Rely on the applicable provider documentation and regulatory disclosures before entering into any financial arrangement — past performance is not indicative of future results, and investments can fall as well as rise in value.
